Today Piedmont Plastics is seeking an Operations Coordinator for our Western Region.
This person will be responsible for assisting the branches to improve the performance of warehouse operations throughout the region.
Duties:Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

-Audits Branch warehouse operations to insure compliance with company standards and procedures

-Assists the Branches on operational issues including warehouse layout, workflow, maintenance of equipment and infrastructure issues

-Performs safety and quality audits, as directed by the Corporate Quality Manager, to insure that company procedures are being followed

-Conducts safety, quality and operations training at the Branches to support the company quality and safety programs

-Assists the Branches and the Corporate Operations Manager in the evaluation and acquisition of equipment.

-Helps to develop new company wide programs to support warehouse operations

-Works on special projects as directed by the Operations Manager or the Corporate Quality Manager

-Assists in the development and implementation safety procedures and documents.

-Assists in the design and implementation of safety and operational training programs for branch personnel.

-Acquires and maintains knowledge of appropriate OSHA, DOT and other government regulations that apply to Piedmont Plastic’s warehouse operations.

-Performs the duties of the Vehicle Safety & Driver Program Coordinator as described in the EHS Procedure “Vehicle Safety”.
Qualifications:Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent experience from a two-year college or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
